Artemis Base Zero: Jordan’s Lunar Outpost on Earth
Closing the critical analog gap, Jordan offers a neutral and accessible high-fidelity environment for Moon-to-Mars field operations at the Multi-Operational Artemis Base (MOAB) concept in Wadi Rum. We provide invaluable testing infrastructure and mission data for global space agencies, commercial leaders, and academic research policy-makers.
Phase 0 pilot subject to final partner alignment and regulatory approvals.
CLOSING THE ANALOG GAP
Space agencies and commercial partners require high-fidelity Earth-based analogs to validate robotics, communications, and human–robot collaboration systems for lunar and planetary missions. While most existing analogs are fragmented or limited in operational realism, the Multi-Operational Artemis Base (MOAB) in Wadi Rum is engineered as a dedicated, systems-level test range to close this critical gap.
PARTNERSHIPS
Jordan offers a stable, sovereign environment for joint Moon-to-Mars analog missions and personnel training. Hosting international scientific collaborations strengthens Jordan’s diplomatic leadership in global technology cooperation, providing a platform where agencies, private sector entities, and academic institutions converge for field operations at the MOAB in Wadi Rum.
SECURE NEUTRAL ENVIRONMENT FOR ADVANCED PLANETARY MISSION SIMULATION.
PHASE 0 PILOT – NOV 2027
Phase 0 is the first pilot mission toward establishing the Multi-Operational Artemis Base (MOAB) in Wadi Rum, focused on technical validation of remote mission operations and engagement with international partners. This mission builds Jordan’s national coordination mechanisms for high-fidelity analog simulations of planetary exploration.
ZONE A – SPACE VILLAGE (PUBLIC ECO-SCIENCE DESTINATION)
The public-facing tourism, hospitality, and STEM education hub near highway access, designed as a low-impact, desert-native village and SpaceLabs Jordan’s primary revenue engine.
ZONE B – ARTEMIS TEST RANGE (RESTRICTED OPERATIONS)
A restricted zone for deployable habitats, robotics testing, mission control, and international partner activities, using modular deployments to protect the environment while maintaining operational separation.
